A Heart of Worship

What does it truly mean to worship? This message takes us on a journey far beyond the walls of a Sunday service, challenging us to see worship as the very fabric of our daily lives. Drawing from Psalm 150, we are reminded that everything with breath is called to praise -- and that means all of us, in everything we do. The sermon unpacks a profound truth: worship is not about personal preference, musical style, or what makes us comfortable. It is entirely about the greatness of God. From the moment creation was spoken into existence -- with the morning stars singing together as described in Job 38 -- to the angels announcing the birth of Christ with songs of glory, music and praise have been woven into the very story of God and humanity. We are invited to come back to the heart of worship, to lay down our opinions and our agendas, and to simply give God the glory He deserves. Whether we bring a broken heart, a fresh diagnosis, a new joy, or a stubborn selfishness, the call is the same: bring it all to God. Communion, giving, singing, serving -- all of it becomes an act of worship when it is done to the glory of God alone.
