At WFR, we want to live “life connected” in community with one another. Our experience has taught us that the best way to grow stronger as a disciple and support others doing the same is through relationships within the body of Christ. To that end we want to provide as many opportunities as possible for people to connect with small groups.
WFR Groups come in two forms: community groups and ministry groups.
Our community groups are just that; groups that meet in our communities. Most meet in people’s homes and currently two meet at our West Monroe campus. Chances are there is a group meeting near you.
Many of ministries at WFR are have a small group component. These ministries are designed to meet a certain need or in some cases a particular stage of life. Below is a list of our ministries that offer small groups. Click on the ministry to link to their webpage.

- What should I expect?
Expect a warm and welcoming environment from all of our groups. In each of our groups there is a time of fellowship and Bible study which is discussion format led by the group leader. Groups usually last about 1 to 2 hours.

All our groups are very informal. Be comfortable.
- How do I get involved?
We want to make connecting to our groups as easy as possible.

- Show up. Drop ins are always welcome.

- Contact the Church office at 318-396-6000 and ask for Jeremy or David and they will guide you through the process.
