Every year, we choose a Sunday afternoon to invade Kiroli Park. This year it will be held on April 18th. Since its inception, CR in the Park has continued to grow and reach out to others in the community. Some White's Ferry Road house churches join in the celebration, as well as other local Celebrate Recovery assemblies. This year, First West and Cedar Crest Baptist Celebrate Recoveries will be joining in the fun and we're really excited about how many others are planning on attending!

There will be a lot of fun for the whole family including horseshoes, Redneck Golf, face painting, softball and jumpers for the kids. Of course, there's cotton candy, a dunking booth and some of the best food in the parish - compliments of our CR BBQ Team and supportive area businesses.

The Summit

Each year, a dozen or more of us get to head out west to Saddleback Church for the annual Celebrate Recovery Summit. This event is packed with various seminars that provide an awesome platform for recovery veterans to share what they have learned in their walk. Packed with poven methods and fresh ideas this event both inspires and energizes its participants.

Trunk or Treat

We are always looking for a good excuse to get together, and Trunk or Treat is hard to beat. Held on site at White's Ferry Road Church, Trunk or Treat is a unique spin on a fall carnival where folks back their vehicles up in a large circle, dress in wild and wacky costumes, and have a huge potluck dinner.

While kids collect candy from tailgaters, adults are collecting sausage on a stick, fried twinkies, fried fish, funnel cakes and long list of other "goodies". A wonderful time of fellowship, food and fun is had by all.
