CR Inside is facilitated by volunteers but run by the clients/offenders themselves. There are four primary components to CR Inside.
Worship - Usually held once a week. Prayer, praise and worship followed by a lesson from the workbook. Every other week a guest or client/offender gives their testimony.
Open Share Small Groups - These groups usually meet after Worship. Groups are separated by focus area such as anger, addiction, high risk behavior, etc.
Step-Study Groups - These groups meet usually once or twice a week. Each individual has his or her own workbook with 26 lessons covering the 8 Recovery Principles and the 12 Steps.
Leadership Training - Frequent classes are held to train the TEAM. Training Coach, Encourager Coach, Assimilation Coach, Ministry Leader and other leaders.
Utilizing these four components, a program can be customized to fit most facilities.

CR Inside is dedicated to bringing and sharing the HOPE we have found in Jesus Christ to the jails and prisons of Louisiana. We have many volunteers from different churches and denominations who share our experience, strength and HOPE and who desire to effect positive change on the lives of those behind bars.
We hope to help not just the inmate but his or her family too. We have many partnerships through Celebrate Recovery churches, Prison Fellowship and other faith-based and community organizations to help in this healing process.
CR Inside is a member of the Out 4 Life Coalition and is active in the organizing and empowering of the community to help with the transition from Inside to Outside. Some areas we hope to help coordinate: GED training, vocational training, soft job skills, transportation and housing.
