Please send mailing address and approximate size of congregation. We will print and mail you some of our brochures for your tract rack, etc.) 2. Why we are doing this: After 15 years in the Air Force, Harriet and I went to the WFR School of Biblical Studies graduating in 1976. We then became missionaries to the American Military founding the AMEN Ministry with the help of the WFR church of Christ. In 1981, we returned to the Air Force, eventually serving 11 years in the Reserves for a total of 26 great years. In 1981 we also became involved in disaster relief work, founding the WFR Relief Ministries. The AMEN Ministry has been the 'love of our lives" which has helped thousands of Christians connect with churches, often right on the same base where they were stationed. This unique ministry has a double aim of providing not only a directory of churches, but also a directory of Christians as they move from base to base. Please inform your congregation by placing an insert in your church bulletin, or put brochures in public places, have a special day of prayer for your communities' military people and/or put a banner of your community's serving military in a prominent place in your church building. And, please point people to our web site and email address. Our ministry depends on volunteers who care for those who are serving our country in the U. S. Military. May God bless them every one.
